OTTOMAN TURKISH WW1 PRISONER OF WAR SNAKE. Hand made by Turkish prisoners to pass the time and earn an income in allied Prisoner of War camps. Amber snake with black zig zag stripes upon its back and white underbelly. Turkish Prisoner spelt out in words and the year 1917. Measures approx: 60 inches (5 feet) in length. Condition is excellent, I cannot see any missing beads.
