Rare WW1 Royal Marine Officers Khaki Service Dress Peak Cap. Possibly early 1920's. Has most of the features of a WW1 cap: Small peak, fine woven cloth ans stiff design. Little evidence of wear. Has a handful of moth holes most noticable above right side chin strap button otherwise a very attractive and rare cap. Later chin strap. Manufacturers stamp Trees & Co, London made for John Taylor & Co High Street, Chatham. Size 6 1/2.
