British Army 1922 pattern service dress khaki wool cap. Medium peak , brown leather chin strap and brass general service buttons and Cheshire Regiment cap badge. Leather sweatband and cream liner suggests a private purchase cap probably a territorial unit. Size 6 5/8.
However the upper part of the cap is a different shade to the lower which suggests a WW1 wartime economy cap.
