Rare original RFC or early RAF Air Ministry stamped flag. The design first appeared in Jan 1918 and was altered in 1920 to that of the more familiar pale blue with roundel after the Admiralty complained it was too similar to the Royal Naval Ensign. The flag is ink stamped Oxford, England, AM + crown. Measures approx. 24 x 40 inches.
