British leather flying helmet. As worn by members of the Royal Naval Air Service/ early RAF. In very good condition, little evidence of wear, all leather is good (corrosion to poppers). Camel/mid brown colour, khaki interior wool lined . Unusual design. Stamped 'Navy Sheepskin Jackets League'. Believed issued and worn by members of the RNAS based in India. (Srinagar, Kashmir)
