Hard to find item of uniform. WW1 pattern KD cotton shorts as worn in Egypt, Gallipoli, Palestine and India. Horn buttons, two vertical side pockets and tightening straps. Officers Shorts. Owners label RHV Buxton .(Captain RHV Buxton served in the Royal Navy throughout WW1 and retired in 1940) . Shorts are late WW1 or inter war. In very good condition. Measures 24 inches from top to bottom. (longer and narrower pattern than those worn in WW2) Waist 31 inches.
