WW1 tunic to a named British army officer. Cuff rank has been removed during the war to make the officer less of a target (Wind up tunic) Tailors label W H KNOLL and officers name Lieut Col W K Lord. Dated 7 / 5/ 1915 . Shoulder straps with embroidered crown and pips. All leather buttons.The tunic is an early WW1 pattern made from a heavy weight cord with ticket pocket and integral waist belt. In good condition with just a few small moth holes. Chest size 37 inches.
