Original iconic WW1 British Army Officer's Khaki Trench cap sometimes known as a ‘COR BLIMEY’. Made from light weight fabric with quilted lining , neck curtain and thin leather chin strap. ( Lightweight fabric for hot climates such as Egypt, Gallipoli & India) The neck curtain unfolds with it's own material chin strap. Belonged to an officer of the Lancashire Fusiliers. In good condition for its age, free from moth or wear. (There are some marks from the water repellent chemical applied at the time) Tailors label missing.
