A classic example of the long pattern leather flying coat worn by both pilots and observers of the Royal Flying Corps. Complete with slanted map pocket, leather belt and interior leather straps for securing to legs.. In a rich golden brown colour with a been there look and feel. The coat is in very good condition for its age. Leather is mostly flexible and damage free (faults are a hole to leather at lower front edge, hidden under front flap, minor scuffs and a small area of wear to right cuff) All buttons and poppers are intact.
