Camel colour WW1 leather cowl type flying helmet as favoured by observers in the Royal Flying Corps.
Leather in in sound overall condition (missing exterior tightening straps and to the interior missing fur & some chamois). Complete with ear flaps and wind deflectors. Faint War Department stamp and manufacturers label "Adastra , George H Leavey 1918 , size 7 1/4."
