Medal ribbons to an officer who served in the Boer War. Officers initials to collar HW. Original document in chest pocket (Nominal roll) confirms officer to be Major H Willet of the 2nd Norfolk Regiment serving in Iraq (Mesopotamia) Most of the regiment were captured at Kut and died in captivity. This officer requires more research since he was with the 2nd Norfolk in Mesopotamia from 1914 until 1922.
