WW1 OTHER RANKS ‘COR BLIMEY’ CAP

An original and very rare WW1 British Army winter trench cap better known as a ‘COR BLIMEY’. Made from heavy serge with padded wool shirt material lining. The lining is stitched in a very distinctive circular pattern unique to this style of other ranks cap. The neck curtain has been removed at some point.
In very good condition for its age with just one small area of wear. Very few Gor Blimeys have survived. Royal Irish Rifles brass cap badge.
