WW1 NAMED PADRE BRITISH OFFICER'S ‘COR BLIMEY’ CAP. Original iconic WW1 British Army Officer's Khaki Trench cap better known as a ‘COR BLIMEY’. Made from medium weight fabric with quilted lining , neck curtain and black thin leather chin strap. The neck curtain unfolds with it's own material chin strap.
Belonged to a named officer  (Padre) W. P. Boyes of the Royal Army Chaplains Department. W.P. Boyes served with the 2nd Royal Scots Fusiliers. Promoted to Captain in 1916. Hard to read tailors label. In very good condition for its age, free from moth or other damage.
