WW1 British Khaki Drill Pith Helmet to the 7th Hussars. A named WW1 Pith 'Wolseley' Officer's sun helmet to Lieutenant Colonel Albert Edward Delaval Astley (Named D.A. inside helmet) 21st Baron Hastings.
The helmet is an original WW1 pith example to a soldier who saw active service in numerous battles against the Turks in Mesopotamia. Hawkes & Co manufacturers stamp. In very good condition with no soft areas. With leather sweat band, narrow leather chin strap ,multiple pagri band and original blue & white unit felt patch to the 7th Hussars. Complete with tin carrying case. named to Lord Hastings.
