A good WW1 Khaki Pith 'Wolseley' other ranks sun helmet. The shell is in good condition. All the cork is sound and there are no weak areas and only minor wear. The leather sweatband 'Vero´s Detachable and Self-Confoming liner' is detached. It is stamped 1914 although is a patent dating from 1925.
Size 6 3/4. Manufacturers label to leather sweat band Hobson & Sons, London . Complete with leather chin strap.
