The map board was used by both Royal Flying Corps Crews and British Cavalry Officers during WW1. Designed to be used with either a map or plain paper, the rollers on each side allowing either to be rolled in each direction for navigation or observation purposes.
The front has a compass in working order, Overall in very good condition. Named to L.G. Duff. Complete with leather wrist strap. Stamped Elliott Bros., London.
