WW1 CUFF RANK TUNIC TO A BRITISH ARMY OFFICER

A good cuff rank tunic to a major of the Suffolk Regiment. No tailors label . Cuff rank braid has been removed but most of the thread remains. One Suffolk button only. Shoulder straps show no pips have ever been attached. This suggests that the cuff braid was removed by the family. The tunic is made from a heavy weight wool and is in good little worn condition. (I count 4 pin head sized holes) Chest size 38 inches. Private letter dated 1921 in pocket gives clues to owners identity.
