VICTORIAN ROYAL ARTILLERY VOLUNTEERS PILLBOX CAP

A very good late Victorian British Army pillbox cap. Royal Artillery pattern silver braid to the top and silver band. Believed to have been worn by a volunteer officer. (Regulars wore gold). In good condition free from moth. Interior with red quilted lining and leather sweatband (original hooks beneath for cap strap). Evidence of wear to the interior.
