VICTORIAN 13TH MIDDLESEX RIFLE VOLUNTEERS TUNIC

13th Middlesex Queens Westminster Rifles grey frock wool serge tunic. A rare tunic of the type worn in the Boer War. The serge tunic was more practical than the khaki drill to cope with the cold nights. Complete with silver Queen Victoria's crown regimental buttons and to the shoulder straps red embroidered titles 13 Mx. The interior with original cloth tailors label from Samuel Brothers, London. Good condition, (a little sun fading) little wear or moth.
